coffeebeanshop for coffee lovers & coffee writers

Welcome Writers and Artists!

Woman drinking coffeeThat woman who’s sipping your coffee to the right awaits for your return from the loo so that she can drink up your writing as well. In fact, we’re all waiting for you and your writing.

CoffeeBeanShop picked up speed with the “Love and Coffee” writing contest in 2001, but the ball got dropped with the Irish Coffee Short Story Contest. The lack of entries was due to a few problems on our end, we’re sure, as the topic was tough; therefore, the entry numbers were slim, and the money was tight. We hope to have enough cash to do another contest VERY soon. Hang in there.

We don’t pay for your writing or artwork because we’re probably less affluent than you; however, if you’re in possession of any form of writing that pertains to coffee and you’d like to see your work online, please feel free to contact us.

You now have access to Love and Coffee, Irish Coffee, coffee fiction, and coffee poetry here at CoffeeBeanShop. That’s over sixty pages filled with some very delightful, talented, and witty writing. In addition, our past judges, Dr. Laurie Rozakis and Bridget Haggerty, contributed their wisdom to the brew in our non-fiction section (both coffee and writer related).

For your convenience, we’ve included some writer and artist guidelines. Happy reading, writing, and artistic endeavors!

Yes, our focus is on coffee here at CoffeeBeanShop, but we also love our writers and we want to offer you the best as well. We offer five favorite picks in each category, and they’re all listed in under the “Posts” category in the menu at far right. These offerings will stay here until I add them to our new Coffee Bean Shop’s “Shop ’til you Drop Shop.”
