CoffeeBeanShop has been through various incarnations over the past 6 years. Coffee Bean Shop is mainly a site for writers, but Linda can’t stop adding links to coffee stuff (P.S. This is NOT a wholesale site), and the “stuff” is mostly from Amazon, because we trust their products and services.
This time around, we’ve moved to a blog format, as Linda wants to add coffee news to the site. The news will appeal to coffee-lovers, we’re sure; but, some of these news items are also fodder for fiction (as in ‘truth is stranger than…’). To make sure that you don’t miss one single post, sign up for an email version of the daily blog at right. In that email you’ll receive all the headlines for the day with a short blurb - a review that will help you to decide whether or not you want to visit us that day or not.

Hugh and Linda both love coffee. Hugh has more class - he tends to like to savor his coffee. Linda, however, swims in hers. Both are also absorbed in many other projects, fueled by the energy provided by this awesome brew.
Hugh and Linda both have traveled widely, gathering coffee experiences from both popular and obscure places. He’s a huge Myst fan, and loves sci-fi. He’s the technical side of this duo. He also maintains sites for domain registration and hosting at HotFootMail.com.
Linda is an award-winning writer, poet, artist and suburban hermit, and she now has her master’s degree in American History (Revolutionary War era), with a minor in the Reformation and in the post-Revolutionary War Caribbean. She writes a weekly financial column for BuyandHold, and monthly article for Better Investing Magazine, and she also maintains a few other blogs outside this one.
You can reach Hugh or Linda through the contact page. Hugh doesn’t bite.
