FMC extends coffee trading to 11.30 pm

Punters can now take cue from the global markets in real time while trading coffee on Indian exchanges. The Forward Markets Commission has permitted exchanges to extend the trading time for coffee up to 11.30 pm from Monday to Friday. Coffee is the first farm commodity to get this privilege. Till now, late night trading was only permitted by the government in metals, bullion and energy.

ET had earlier reported that the FMC was considering a move to extend trading time for farm crops.
